Local history and changing exhibitions / ALNWICK
Bailiffgate Museum and Gallery
Bailiffgate gives Alnwick’s wider community a voice alongside the castle’s grander history. Its former church building holds local objects, photographs and stories across two collection floors, with changing exhibitions above. It is a manageable way to understand the town and surrounding district before looking again at the streets outside, and a useful indoor anchor for families or a shorter visit.

The museum is still at 14 Bailiffgate. The announced move to Northumberland Hall is a future project, not the address for a visit now.
