Heads of Ayr Farm Park
Make the farm park a substantial family outing rather than a quick stop between town attractions. Animal areas and different kinds of play give children choices, so select what suits their ages and leave space for breaks. Much of the visit involves being outside even when indoor facilities are available.
Check which attractions are included and operating on your date. Seasonal opening and weather can change the available activities; a sheltered play area does not make the whole park an indoor day out.

- The ordinary season currently runs 21 March–1 November, daily 10:00–17:00 with last admission 16:00. Prices vary by date and available attractions. Book or check current tickets; winter special events have separate arrangements.
- Access and getting around
- The operator’s access guide is being developed. It confirms nearby Blue Badge spaces, gravel parking and some tarmac approaches, with no dropped kerbs in the car park. Ask about the actual animal and play routes, toilets and equipment needs before booking.

- Choose age-appropriate activities and supervise around animals and play equipment. Follow staff instructions and handwashing guidance. Check any separate charges, height restrictions or animal-session arrangements rather than promising every activity to every child.
