Rozelle House, galleries and park
Explore the changing exhibitions and local collections at Rozelle, then look for sculpture and woodland details in the surrounding park if the weather suits. Paintings inspired by Tam o’ Shanter provide a different way into Burns’ stories, while the Maclaurin Gallery adds another art space to the same visit.
Before you go
Exhibitions change and only a selection of the Tam o’ Shanter paintings is normally displayed. Check the current programme rather than expecting every work in the collection to be on view.

- Ordinary museum and gallery entry is free. Current opening is Monday–Saturday 10:00–17:00 and Sunday 12:00–17:00. Special events or temporary closures can change access; park time and indoor exhibitions should be planned separately.
- Access and getting around
- The house has a lift, accessible toilet, disabled parking and a wheelchair available on request. Outdoor routes differ in surface and condition. Ask about the particular galleries and a suitable park route if mobility or equipment affects your visit.

- Choose a small number of pictures to discuss, or follow part of the outdoor Story Stroll when conditions allow. A short gallery visit and a few sculptures can work better for young children than attempting every display and path.
