Meet farm animals, explore a patch of countryside within the city and stop for views across Bath. This working community farm offers a different pace from the central museums, with a play area and trails for a longer outdoor visit.

Before you go

Treat the farm as its own outing, not a quick detour between central attractions. Wear shoes suited to sloping ground and follow the farm’s animal-feeding and hand-washing instructions. Check the opening day before travelling.

Tickets and booking: General entry is free, with donations welcomed. Food, animal feed and some activities are extra. Check farm and café opening separately; neither should be assumed open every day.
Access and getting around: Step-free access serves the main buildings, toilets and some animal enclosures. Other paths can be steep, muddy or uneven, and some approaches are unsuitable for pushchairs. Use the official arrival guidance and contact the farm about your route.

Visiting with children: Keep children supervised around animals and use the hand-washing facilities before eating. The playground offers an optional stop; trails need more walking. Baby-changing facilities are listed in the main building.
