Before you go

This is an archaeological attraction, not a swimming session. Reserve your entry before planning the rest of the day, and bring a layer for the open-air parts. Leave luggage elsewhere and check the venue’s restrictions before travelling.

Where to find it: Abbey Church Yard, Bath BA1 1LZ. Close to Bath Abbey in the pedestrian centre.

Tickets and booking: Buy for your intended date and check the ticket type and arrival instructions. Allow time for entry checks; a booking is not a reason to schedule your next stop immediately afterwards.
Access and getting around: Lifts reach much of the complex, but some historic surfaces are uneven and a complete route includes steps. Contact the venue ahead if you need the lifts, as wheelchair capacity is limited. Read its sensory guidance if enclosed or darker spaces are a concern.
