BEARSDEN GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

A booked outdoor ski or snowboard lesson / BEARSDEN

Bearsden Snowsports Club

Book a lesson appropriate to your experience if you want an active visit rather than a sightseeing stop. The club has an artificial main slope and a separate nursery area, so learning here does not depend on mountain snow. Give the session its own place in the day, with time to arrive, fit equipment and change afterwards.

Before you go

This is an outdoor artificial slope, not an indoor snow centre. Ask about the lesson’s age, ability, clothing and equipment requirements before paying.

The practical details

The Mound, Stockiemuir Road, Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire G61 3RS
Directions and arrival information ↗
Tickets and booking
Non-members can use the slopes under the club’s arrangements. Book instruction or confirm practice eligibility and current times directly. Private ski lessons advertise skis and boots included; verify the inclusions of your selected session.
Access and getting around
Skiing and snowboarding are physical activities with specific equipment and slope access. Contact the club about your needs and suitable instruction rather than assuming a standard session can accommodate everyone.
Official access information ↗
Visiting with children
Dedicated young-child formats and lessons for older children differ. Book the correct age and ability group; the existence of a nursery slope does not mean children can use it unsupervised.

Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
