Penmon Priory, cross and well
Visit the priory remains and surrounding historic site when you want a more contemplative outing beyond Beaumaris. The church, carved cross and well tell different parts of the place’s long religious history, but access to each element needs checking. Give yourself time to look carefully rather than rushing on to the coast.
The cross is inside the working church and can only be seen when it is open. Free monument entry does not mean free parking or unrestricted access to every nearby coastal area.

- Cadw currently advertises free entry with a daytime opening window. Third-party parking charges apply. Check church visitor access and arrange a separate transfer from Beaumaris; do not make a lighthouse visit an assumed part of this stop.

- Cadw describes the priory route as accessible and the well route as easy, but historic surfaces and outdoor conditions still vary. Check church access separately and choose a route suited to your group.
