Beaumaris pier, seafront and town walk
Start with a view from the pier and seafront, then use a short section of the official town walk to explore the older streets. The route joins water, castle views and local architecture without requiring a paid attraction at every stop. Choose how far you want to go and leave time for food or a quiet browse.
Before you go
The official circular route is around three kilometres, but a shorter seafront-and-centre section works well. Follow current pier notices and use the marked crossings on busy Castle Street.

- Ordinary public-street and seafront walking needs no attraction ticket. Parking, refreshments, boat trips and building interiors are separate. Check temporary restrictions before extending the route.
- Access and getting around
- Expect public pavements, road crossings and some narrow lanes. The pier is level along its length, but boat boarding uses a separate tide-dependent ramp; walking the pier is not proof that a cruise is accessible.

- Keep children close beside water and traffic. Pick a few landmarks and a snack stop rather than turning the whole heritage route into a compulsory march.
