Tickets and booking: The published schedule lists Wednesday–Sunday, with rides 10.30am–4pm and museum entry until 4.15pm; train operation varies by season and weather. Call ahead to confirm opening for your date, particularly outside summer. It advises arriving at least 30 minutes before the last train. Buy the museum and ride tickets you actually want. Access and getting around: Ask the museum about the actual approach, carriage boarding and indoor access before visiting with mobility needs. The published toilet closure means you should plan a suitable public facility separately; do not assume the suggested railway-footbridge route suits everyone.
