A date-specific railway visit with an optional short shore walk.
Forth views along a public waterfront route / BO’NESS
Take a short foreshore walk for estuary views and a sense of the town’s industrial setting, extending towards Kinneil Nature Reserve if time and conditions suit. The route offers a change from trains and historic interiors without needing another attraction ticket. Keep to public paths and enjoy wildlife from a respectful distance.

Use the surfaced inner route for the simpler option; outer reserve paths can be uneven and wet. Do not walk onto tidal mudflats or islands.
