Bournemouth Lower Gardens
The Lower Gardens provide a green connection between the Square and Pier Approach. Flower beds, the bandstand and places to sit make them useful for slowing down between the shops and the shore. Allow time to pause instead of treating the gardens only as a through-route.

Keep optional mini golf or seasonal events separate from the basic garden walk: you can enjoy the planting and a picnic without buying an activity.
