An Old Town history half-day →
Keep the trail, museum and Priory in one area, checking opening before you travel.
Local history inside the Old Town gatehouse / BRIDLINGTON
Look at Bridlington’s local stories inside the historic Bayle Gate, where the building itself is part of the interest. The museum’s objects and displays complement a walk around the Old Town and Priory, giving a more detailed view than the street trail alone. It is a focused small-museum visit, not an all-day attraction.

Check the published weekday and seasonal arrangements before travelling. Access is by stairs, and the museum’s normal schedule does not provide a Saturday or Sunday fallback.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 45–75 minutes for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
