BRIDLINGTON GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

A house, garden and zoo day above the coast / NEAR BRIDLINGTON

Sewerby Hall and Gardens

Give Sewerby a substantial part of the day if you want more than the seafront. The furnished house offers an indoor focus, while the gardens and small zoo let you vary the pace outdoors. Choose the parts that interest your group and leave time for a meal rather than treating the estate as a quick stop between beach visits.

Before you go

House opening and ticket arrangements change outside the main season. From late September the house has a more restricted pattern, so confirm that the rooms are open before relying on them for a rainy-day visit.
