Brighton’s seaside palace is the place to choose for theatrical architecture and royal interiors. Give the rooms a proper visit rather than treating the domes as a quick photograph on the way to the beach. Its central position also makes it a manageable single paid focus for a first day.

Before you go

The operator currently lists the Pavilion café as closed. Plan lunch elsewhere; check garden restoration access and do not depend on the garden toilets, which the Pavilion visitor page also marks closed.
