Buxton Opera House
Make a performance the centre of a Buxton evening, from drama and comedy to music and family shows. The Edwardian theatre stands beside Pavilion Gardens, so a garden stroll and an early meal can fit before the curtain rises. Check which venue is named on the ticket: some events in the programme take place at the separate Pavilion Arts Centre.
Book your actual show and seating before arranging dinner. An open box office does not mean the auditorium is available for casual sightseeing.

- Wheelchair spaces and essential-companion arrangements should be discussed with the box office; the access-registration scheme applies to relevant concessions. Ticket prices vary by show and seat. Check arrival instructions and the correct building, then allow a margin for collection and getting seated. A future festival announcement is not a current daily programme.
- Access and getting around
- The Opera House has three wheelchair spaces in the Stalls, reached through the Water Street side entrance, 72cm at its narrowest. Upper levels have stairs and no lift; motorised scooters cannot enter. Ask the box office about your seat. The separate Arts Centre currently has a broken lift and different access routes.

- Choose the production’s age guidance and runtime, including any interval. Under-threes are admitted to family and children’s shows only under the current policy. Check the particular child ticket and seating arrangements rather than assuming one rule covers every performance.
