Holst Victorian House
Gustav Holst’s birthplace connects the composer with the ordinary rooms of a Victorian home. The piano associated with The Planets gives the musical story a tangible focus, while the kitchen and domestic spaces make the visit broader than a recital of achievements. It is a small, stair-filled house opposite the southern approach to Pittville Park, making music and a park walk a natural pairing.

- The current calendar lists Tuesday–Saturday opening, shorter Sunday afternoons and Monday closure except bank holidays. Tickets can be booked ahead or bought on arrival; under-16s enter free with a paying adult and carers enter free. Check the date-specific programme before travel. There is no café in the house, so plan a meal or snack elsewhere. Exhibitions and musical events have their own dates; ordinary entry does not promise a live performance.

The house’s current access policy confirms seating on every floor; facilities include a modern outside toilet with baby changing.
