Drumpellier Country Park
Choose a lochside route, woodland walk or adventure-playground visit at Drumpellier. The country park gives a generous outdoor alternative to the town’s indoor attractions, with wildlife and a network of routes that can be explored at different paces. You do not need to cover the whole park to have a worthwhile visit.

- Public park access and parking are free. The visitor centre is currently listed as opening daily 10–5, with café service starting later; check before relying on facilities. Events and any organised activities have separate arrangements.
- Access and getting around
- The council says many paths are suitable for wheelchairs and prams, but not every route has the same surface or gradient. Choose the route using current signs and advice. Visitor-centre and café facilities have their own opening hours.

- The adventure playground and a short nature-spotting walk make a useful combination. Stay close beside the lochs and canal, and leave time for food and toilets rather than committing to a long circuit.
