Amazona Zoo
Give Amazona its own half-day to explore a zoo focused on South American wildlife. The animal areas and play spaces make it a different choice from the compact seafront sights. Leave time for a picnic or café pause rather than trying to fit it between a museum visit and a fixed theatre performance.
Some play is indoors, but much of the visit remains outside. Choose it for suitable weather and check closure notices before making a special journey.

- Access and getting around
- The operator lists concrete routes, slopes and ramps, with some rocky gravel paths. Ask about the particular areas and mobility equipment you plan to use. Carer entry has its own evidence requirements; confirm before buying.

- Jungle Tumbles is an indoor play area for under-twelves; outdoor jumping pillows depend on the weather. Follow the animal-feeding and supervision rules on the day rather than promising a particular encounter.
