- Ordinary admission is free; check the current seasonal days and hours. Visits inside the nearby Mausoleum have separate arrangements through staff, so do not assume it is open whenever the house is.
- Access and getting around
- Four entrance steps with handrails lead from a cobbled street. There are two ground-floor rooms and further rooms up narrow stairs. Public toilets are elsewhere in town; contact staff if the route may not suit.
