DUNGANNON GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Lakeside walking and play south of the centre / DUNGANNON

Dungannon Park

Head to the park for a walk beside the lake, a play stop and space for a picnic. It is a separate destination around two miles from central Dungannon, with its own arrival point on Moy Road. Choose the path length that suits your group rather than treating the whole park as a required circuit.

Before you go

Ordinary park admission is free, but check current parking notices. Fishing, camping and particular booked facilities have separate arrangements and should not be assumed part of a free visit.

Where to find it
Dungannon Park, Moy Road, Dungannon, County Tyrone
Directions and arrival information ↗
Tickets and booking
Independent park access is free according to official tourism information. Check gates and parking arrangements, and reserve or pay separately for activities that require them. Do not infer current angling availability from older event listings.
Access and getting around
Ask the park team about the most suitable current path, toilet availability and accessible facilities for your visit. Lake routes, play equipment and bookable facilities can have different access requirements.
Official access information ↗
Visiting with children
A short walk followed by play can work well for younger children. Supervise by the lake and keep food and a weather layer available; angling areas are not swimming or paddling areas.

Practical information checked 16 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.

Make it part of your day

Allow 1–2 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
