Dungannon hill and lakeside afternoon →
Link a short central visit with a separate journey to the lake park.
A historic hill above the town centre / DUNGANNON
Visit the public hilltop park behind Ranfurly House for a sense of Dungannon’s setting and its connection with the O’Neill dynasty. The outdoor visit and views can be enjoyed independently; the visitor centre’s guided history experience is a separate paid option.

Free admission applies to the public park. Do not assume it includes a guided tour or every indoor exhibition arrangement at Ranfurly House. Ask reception about the current choices.
Practical information checked 16 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 30–60 minutes outside; longer for a booked tour for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
