Peatlands Park

Explore the park’s contrast of peatland, woodland and orchard on a selected walking route. Boardwalk sections allow views into bog habitats without leaving the paths. Although often listed under Dungannon, the park is physically in County Armagh and needs a separate journey from the town.

Tickets and booking: Ordinary entrance is free. Check the current park information for opening arrangements, restrictions and any separately organised activities. No operating railway, café or staffed exhibition is guaranteed here.
Access and getting around: Boardwalks and other paths have varying surfaces and can be slippery when wet. Confirm a suitable current route, gates and facilities with the park if mobility, pushchairs or toilets are essential. Do not assume every nature trail is step-free.

Visiting with children: Keep children on paths and boardwalks, away from wet ground and open water. Looking for changes between wooded and open bog landscapes gives a shorter walk a focus without needing to complete a long circuit.
