Visit the National Trust estate for its house, garden and wooded river setting, choosing a date when the areas you want are actually open. The house is explored on guided tours on its open days; a grounds opening alone does not mean the interiors, café and bookshop are available.

Tickets and booking: Ordinary non-member admission is paid; National Trust membership has separate benefits. General prebooking is not normally required, but check available house tours and any separately ticketed event. Food facilities have their own hours.
