Tickets and booking: Ordinary entry is free with donations welcomed. Groups of ten or more and school groups should book ahead; volunteer guided tours require advance arrangements and can have a charge. Check temporary exhibitions and the actual opening date.
Access and getting around: This is a listed building with some challenging internal access. The museum lists wheelchair access, a stairlift and an accessible toilet; contact staff about the rooms you wish to visit and whether the stairlift suits your needs. A drop-off point is reached via Viewforth car park.
