Queen’s Hall Arts Centre
Across from the Abbey, Queen’s Hall adds a contemporary arts stop to Hexham’s older landmarks. Choose a play, concert, talk or family show from the programme, or look for a current gallery exhibition during its advertised opening. A performance makes a good reason to stay in town after an afternoon of sightseeing; an exhibition is a shorter and more flexible visit.
Book the actual performance and accessible seating you need. Gallery browsing and a theatre ticket are different visits, and exhibitions may have gaps between installations.

- Street-level automatic doors serve the accessible ground floor. Lifts reach the public upper spaces and theatre stalls, but not the balcony. Arrange wheelchair positions, hearing receivers and free essential-companion tickets through the box office.

- Choose the age recommendation and running time of a specific production. Booster seats are available; pushchairs and car seats stay in the designated foyer area rather than the auditorium. Family exhibitions and the foyer art trolley can offer a shorter stop.
