Holyhead Mountain as the main outing →
A dedicated hill walk for a suitably prepared group in good conditions.
A demanding walk to ancient summit remains / NEAR HOLYHEAD
Climb only in suitable conditions to see the hillfort and later watchtower remains above Holyhead. The interest lies in the exposed position and surviving walls as well as the views. Treat it as a proper hill walk with a planned return, not a quick extension to a museum visit.

Cadw grades the terrain strenuous. Choose this only if the whole group is comfortable with rough, steep ground, navigation and the weather on the day.
