Tickets and booking: Book an arrival slot, including members and valid pass holders. The detailed current booking page allows arrivals after 2.30pm without advance booking, but this leaves a shorter visit; confirm the rule for your date. The arrival slot is not a time limit on the visit.
Access and getting around: Accessible parking, level reception, accessible toilets, baby changing and a sensory room are available. Cobbles, towpaths and steep Furnace Bank make the wider site demanding. Mobility equipment is first come, first served and cannot be pre-booked; wheelchair and scooter users should ask about a suitable route and companion support.
