- Access and getting around
- The council describes wheelchair-accessible entrances and paths but notes inclines. That is not a guarantee that every long circuit suits every visitor. Scooters can be arranged through Tropical World; book ahead. Accessible toilets depend on facility opening.

- Choose one playground or garden area and leave time for a picnic. Keep children supervised beside lakes. The land train depends on operating dates and weather, so do not use it as your only way back up the park.
