Choose a film, performance or creative event / LEEK
Foxlowe Arts Centre
Make a particular film or live event the reason to spend longer in Leek. The Foxlowe’s programme offers an indoor focus that can turn a daytime browse into an evening out, but the experience depends on what is scheduled. Choose the performance first, then leave room for food and a short town walk around it.

This recommendation is for a booked programme event, not an all-day museum visit. Check the date, doors time, age guidance and ticket availability before planning the rest of the day.
The practical details
- Where to find it
- Market Place, Leek ST13 6AD
Directions and arrival information ↗ - Tickets and booking
- Buy the ticket for the exact film or performance. Café purchases and other activities are separate. Daytime building opening does not establish that a performance or exhibition is available then.
- Access and getting around
- Contact the centre about the room used for your event, step-free access, seating and any hearing support. The building has several floors; do not assume the café and performance spaces have identical routes.
Official access information ↗ - Visiting with children
- Check the individual film certificate or event age guidance. Some performances are aimed at adults; book a family-suitable session only when the programme explicitly supports it.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Make it part of your day
Allow 1½–3 hours, depending on the event for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
