Walker Art Gallery

Take time with painting, sculpture and decorative art in Liverpool’s main historic art gallery. It is a different kind of visit from the busy subject-hopping at World Museum: choose a small group of works, compare them and leave room to sit and look. Art lovers can comfortably make it the main event rather than a quick extra.

Combine with World Museum only if you still want another collection. They are close geographically, but two full museum visits can be a long day of looking and reading.
