The trails are fairly level but prone to flooding after heavy rain. Check current conditions rather than assuming an all-access trail is usable in every weather.

Directions and arrival information - Tickets and booking
- Ordinary entry is free without advance booking. Non-member parking normally costs extra, with member and Blue Badge exceptions; optional activities and binocular hire are also separate. Use the current daily calendar for visitor-centre and toilet hours.
- Access and getting around
- The operator describes short level trails and an all-access main route, but flooding, boardwalk passing places and uneven gravel parking matter. Accessible toilets and baby changing depend on facility opening hours. Check the detailed access guide and current conditions.
Official access information - Visiting with children
- Choose a short trail and a small number of birds or signs to look for. Natural play and optional self-led activities can add interest, but paid extras are separate and wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Keep children close beside water and in viewing areas.
