Tickets and booking: General entry is free. The main temporary exhibition requires advance booking even when free; ordinary gallery opening and temporary exhibition access are different.
Access and getting around: Ramped entrance, lifts and level access to public spaces are described by the museum. A quiet room, ear defenders and a Changing Places toilet are available; ask staff about any route changes.

Visiting with children: Buggy storage is provided near the Main Hall. The Vivarium and fossils can anchor a manageable family visit; check which galleries are included before choosing a quiet session.
