MERTHYR TYDFIL GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

A scheduled train journey from Pant / NEAR MERTHYR TYDFIL

Brecon Mountain Railway

Travel from Pant into the upland landscape on a heritage railway, letting the journey and its station pauses be the main attraction. Despite the name, the departure point is near Merthyr rather than in Brecon town. Check the operating day first, then arrange meals and travel around the booked departure instead of squeezing it between several distant stops.
