- Ordinary public park use is free. Organised activities may have separate arrangements. Follow current signs and use the park as a flexible addition rather than depending on an event or staffed service.

- Public paths connect the park and its play and sports areas. Check the entrance and surface that suit your group; wet ground and riverside sections need care. Town facilities and the station are nearby, but not every route through the park is equivalent.
