MILNGAVIE GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Victorian engineering and open-water views / MILNGAVIE

Milngavie Reservoirs

Walk beside Mugdock and Craigmaddie reservoirs to see how a working water-supply landscape also became a place for everyday recreation. The causeway, engineering features and broad views offer a different experience from a woodland trail. Choose one circuit or a shorter out-and-back rather than assuming both reservoirs must be covered.
