Make one waterside route the main activity.
Victorian engineering and open-water views / MILNGAVIE
Walk beside Mugdock and Craigmaddie reservoirs to see how a working water-supply landscape also became a place for everyday recreation. The causeway, engineering features and broad views offer a different experience from a woodland trail. Choose one circuit or a shorter out-and-back rather than assuming both reservoirs must be covered.

These are drinking-water reservoirs: swimming, boating and fishing are prohibited, and dogs must not enter the water.
