Mold town heritage trail

Start with Daniel Owen’s statue and use the council’s town trail to notice the people, buildings and stories around central Mold. A few carefully chosen stops can connect a museum visit with the old courthouse, church area and other historic frontages. Keep Bailey Hill as an optional extension rather than assuming every slope must be completed.

Tickets and booking: Public street walking is free and does not require booking. Church services, private buildings and other interiors are separate from the trail. Download or check the council information before setting out.
Access and getting around: The route follows public streets with slopes, crossings and varying pavements. The climb towards Bailey Hill adds effort and the motte has steps; shorten the walk around the lower central streets if needed.

Visiting with children: Use the statue and a few building details as things to find, keeping children close at crossings. A short route plus the museum or food is usually easier than insisting on the full trail.
