Donnington Castle

The approach from the car park is a fairly steep gravel path. Wear suitable footwear and choose a different outing if the climb, wet conditions or exposure would make the visit uncomfortable.

Tickets and booking: General site entry is free during reasonable daylight hours, but non-member parking is charged. Check parking hours and payment separately. Do not assume ordinary access includes going inside the gatehouse.
Access and getting around: English Heritage flags steep slopes and uneven surfaces. The hilltop route is not described as an easy step-free outing; review the current access notes before choosing it for someone with limited mobility.
