OBAN GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

A booked whisky experience in town / OBAN

Oban Distillery

Book a guided introduction to Oban’s whisky at the distillery tucked behind the seafront. The classic experience combines its history and production spaces with tasting, making it an adult-interest stop that fits around a town lunch. The distillery currently says it is not in production, although normal tour areas remain visitable.

Check the live tour calendar before planning around it: the operator is reviewing its programme. A tour during the production pause does not show machinery working.
