Bodleian Library tours
Join an official tour to experience historic library spaces that are not open for casual wandering. Choose the tour by the rooms it actually includes: the Old Library and Radcliffe Camera have different visiting arrangements, and a photograph outside does not provide access inside.
Check the closure calendar before buying. Several September 2026 dates alter the normal route or require tickets to be purchased in person that day. Do not assume the Divinity School or Radcliffe Camera is included in every tour.

- Old Bodleian Library, Catte Street, Oxford. The tour ticket desk is in the Weston Library on Broad Street.

- Read the exact tour description, room list, meeting point and closure notices. Book ahead when offered, but some altered tours are sold in person on the day. Allow time for arrival and bag arrangements.
- Access and getting around
- Library guided tours involve stairs and no lift is available for those routes. Discuss access needs with the tours team before booking; the Weston exhibitions provide a different, step-free option.

- Library tours are for ages 11 and above. Younger children can visit the Weston exhibitions; Divinity School visits and city walking tours have separate family arrangements.
