- General entry is free and unticketed. Organisations and groups of more than ten people need to arrange their visit; individual family visits have different arrangements. Check event booking separately.
- Access and getting around
- A step-free entrance is on the right side of the building when viewed from Parks Road, leading to a lift. The museum publishes a visual and sensory guide and provides sensory resources; ask the welcome desk about availability.
Official access information - Visiting with children
- Buggies and prams may accompany visitors but cannot be stored by staff. The visual guide helps children prepare, and a SEND pack can be borrowed subject to availability. Build in a break rather than treating every display as compulsory.
