Weaving history and a Paisley performance →
A seasonal afternoon heritage visit followed by an independently booked show.
Weaving families and everyday domestic history / PAISLEY
Explore the small historic cottages that explain how Paisley’s weaving families lived and worked. Looms, rooms and the connecting yard give the textile story a human scale, especially when a volunteer guide helps connect individual objects to everyday life. The limited seasonal opening days are part of planning the visit.

The ordinary season runs April to September with selected afternoon openings. Check the current day before travelling; a general town-centre walk does not guarantee the cottages are open.
Practical information checked 16 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 45–90 minutes for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
