PORT TALBOT GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Sea air with space to choose your own pace / PORT TALBOT

Aberavon Beach and Promenade

Make Aberavon the focus of a simple seaside outing: walk a section of the promenade, pause for the view across Swansea Bay and leave time for food. A beach visit and a promenade stroll are different choices, so you can enjoy the coast without committing to sand or swimming. The working coastline is part of the setting rather than something to edit out of the day.

Before you go

Choose your turning point before walking the full length. The beach is extensive, and a relaxed return with time for food can be more enjoyable than covering every section.
