PORTHMADOG GUIDE Independent ideas for your day out

Architecture and planted paths beyond town / NEAR PORTHMADOG

Portmeirion village and gardens

Set aside a substantial visit for the designed village near Minffordd, where colourful buildings, gardens and estuary views sit within one paid visitor attraction. Explore the central spaces first, then decide whether the woodland paths fit your time and energy. It works better as the main outing than a quick addition after a long train journey.
