Curry’s Fun Park Portrush

Choose a few fairground rides at Curry’s when you want a lively change from the beach. The Eglinton Street site has indoor amusements as well as ride areas, with different options for younger children and thrill seekers. It works best as a planned part of a family day, with a spending limit and a check of the rides running. The photograph shows the same site in 2007 under its former Barry’s name, before Curry’s took over.

Before you go

Confirm the Portrush opening and ride operation for your date, particularly after the school holidays. The operator also runs Salthill, so make sure the information you are using is for the Northern Ireland park.

Tickets and booking: Rides use paid tokens under the operator’s published system. Check current prices, deals and which rides are available at Portrush before purchasing. Opening varies with the season and individual rides may not operate; do not assume the summer homepage schedule applies every day in winter.
Access and getting around: Ask the Portrush team about the entrance route, wheelchair access, ride transfers, sensory needs and toilets before travelling. Individual rides have different height and accompaniment rules; access to the amusement area does not mean every ride is suitable.

Visiting with children: Look at height and adult-accompaniment requirements before buying tokens or promising a particular ride. Agree a budget and a meeting point, and choose a few rides that fit your children’s confidence. Busy lights, noise and movement may make a shorter visit preferable.
