A free seasonal look at marine life / PORTRUSH
Portrush Coastal Zone
Explore the coast’s wildlife, geology and maritime history in the Coastal Zone on Bath Road. Displays and aquaria give context to the sea outside, making this a useful short indoor visit before or after a beach walk. Its waterfront location also offers a view of the surrounding marine environment, without any promise of a particular animal appearing. The photograph shows the Bath Road building in 2008 under its former Portrush Countryside Centre name.

Ordinary public opening is seasonal, currently June to September. Check directly before making it your wet-weather plan; winter appointments for school or community groups do not mean general walk-in opening.
