Visit museum reception before the landing craft. The craft and museum have different last-admission times; the outdoor element is less comfortable in heavy rain.

Access and getting around: The museum has no steps, with a long ramp to the embroidery gallery. LCT 7074 has sloping access, uneven metal surfaces and upper decks reached by steps or a steep ladder. Read the access guide for the route that suits you.

Visiting with children: War stories need adult context. Some displays use low light, sudden noise and flashing effects; ear defenders can be requested. Build in time outside the galleries if the material becomes overwhelming.
