Chapel and a manageable glen walk →
A booked architectural visit followed by an optional outdoor change of pace.
Carved stone, stories and a timed visit / ROSLIN
Take time to study the chapel’s carved details instead of treating it only as a film location. A visitor slot includes a guide’s talk, giving context to the craftsmanship and stories around the building. It is still a place of worship, so a thoughtful, unhurried visit works better than a quick photography stop. The grounds and visitor centre can add time around your allocated chapel slot.

Book a 90-minute slot and arrive early enough to use it properly. Sunday visitor sessions begin later because of worship.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow allow 1.5–2 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
