A pond-side pause below the town / RUTHIN
Take a gentler break around the pond and green space at Cae Ddôl after time among Ruthin’s buildings. A short walk or picnic can be enough, while longer grass sections offer an extension in suitable conditions. Improvement works are underway, so let the available paths and the day’s energy determine how much of the park you use.

The council confirmed the park remains open during its 2026 improvements. Follow barriers and diversions; proposed bridge, route and pump-track works are not a promise that every new feature is already available.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 45–90 minutes for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
