Contemporary making without an admission charge / RUTHIN
Explore changing exhibitions of applied art, from the form of an object to the skill behind its surface. The galleries and maker spaces offer a modern counterpoint to Ruthin’s historic buildings and suit a visit that leaves time to look closely. An ordinary gallery visit is worthwhile on its own; workshops and individual makers’ availability are separate checks.

Gallery admission and onsite parking are free. Check the current exhibition and visiting arrangements, especially during changeovers; café purchases and booked workshops are separate.
Practical information checked 15 September 2026. Confirm anything essential to your visit with the venue.
Allow 1–2 hours for the visit, plus travel and breaks. This is a suggested planning allowance; opening times, access and availability may affect your plans.
