Tickets and booking: Ordinary park access is free; parking, the leisure centre and specialist activities are separate. The council has a 2026 games-area construction project, so check current works if that facility matters to your visit. Use daylight for an unfamiliar walk and follow any temporary diversions.
Access and getting around: Paths, sloping lawns and grassy areas offer different surfaces; wet ground can be muddy. Choose your entrance and route to suit mobility or pushchair needs, and check with Craven Leisure about current facilities rather than relying on every park entrance being step-free.

Visiting with children: The play area, wheel park and pump track give different age groups options. Supervise younger children around faster riders and bring suitable equipment for wheeled activities. General play and a picnic can be enough.
